Del Oro Loomis 3-1 2
The running game of Del Oro may be among the best in the region spearheaded by Nick O’Sullivan and Brandon Monroe behind a tough offensive line. Monroe had 190 yards and three touchdowns while O’Sullivan had 156 yards with two scores in a 49-29 win over Oak Ridge. The top ranked team from the Sacramento area will play Oakmont on Friday to end the non-league.
Grant Sacramento 2-2 1
Quarterback Isaiah Rios was forced into action after Shaq Thompson was ruled out of the Lincoln game late on Friday as the Pacers lost 56-20 to drop to 2-2. He threw three first half touchdowns, but Grant was shutout in the second half as the game went to a running clock. Grant is idle this week.
3   Folsom Folsom 3-1 4
Tanner Trosin threw for 601 yards and five touchdowns and Folsom needed every yard in a 49-46 win over Deer Valley for a third straight victory. The 601 yards in a Northern California record, according to CalHiSports. The Bulldogs are idle this week before returning to action against Casa Roble on September 30.
Buhach Atwater 4-0 5
The Thunder had little trouble with Lodi in posting a 42-7 win and move to 4-0 on the year. Buhach Colony has now outscored its opponents 166-29 and has won 14straight regular season games. It is idle this week before playing Clovis East to end the month.
Vacaville Vacaville 2-1 7
Junior Curtis Goins rushed for 147 yards and four touchdowns as Vacaville got a big bounce back performance to knock off previous No. 5 Granite Bay 38-27. The win puts the Bulldogs in the Top 20 for the first time this year as they now take a 2-1 record into another Top 20 match-up at No. 11 Valley Christian-San Jose on Friday.
St. Mary's Stockton 1-2 3
St. Mary’s-Stockton was shut out at home in losing to No. 1 De La Salle 35-0 to drop to 1-2 on the year. The Rams trailed 21-0 at halftime before the game went to a running clock in the fourth quarter. It doesn’t get any easier this week as St. Mary’s takes on rival Lincoln-Stockton Friday night.
Paradise Paradise 4-0 8
Paradise knocked off Pleasant Valley on the road with a 24-7 win behind 202 yards and two touchdowns from Albert Stevens. The win makes the Bobcats 4-0 (14 game winning streak) going into their bye week before playing Chico to end the month.
 
Elk Grove Elk Grove 4-0 10
Elk Grove was very impressive in its first real test of the year in dispatching Division I Sheldon 51-7 to stay perfect at 4-0. Deon Ransom and Robert Frazier combined for more than 340 yards on the ground with each scoring three touchdowns. The Thundering Herd face a difficult test this Friday against Top 20 ranked Nevada Union.
Whitney Rocklin 2-1 6
Whitney’s early season success was halted some on Saturday night in Idaho with a 55-6 loss to that state’s top team in Coeur d’Alene for its first defeat of the year. The Wildcats will try to get back to its winning ways on Saturday against Christian Brothers.
10   Willow Glen San Jose 1-1 9
According to the San Jose Mercury News, Willow Glen has lost tight end Mark Amann for the season with a dislocated ankle suffered in a 35-21 loss to St. Francis-Mountain View. The Rams trailed 28-7 at halftime en route to losing to the Lancers to even their record at 1-1. Next up is San Benito on Friday.
