Nor Cal Preps Game Prediction

#9 Vacaville (10-1) at #4 Folsom (10-1) 7:00 PM Game of the Week: A Top 10 NorCal match-up in the second round of the SJS Division II playoffs shows the overall depth of the bracket. Vacaville's lone loss this season is to No. 8 Valley Christian (San Jose). Vacaville is averaging 55 points per game with a potent running attack led by Melvin Mason and Quincy Forte. It ran for 512 yards in a first round win over Antelope. Folsom on the other hand has won 10 in a row since losing to No. 2 Grant in the opener. Folsom is averaging just more than 50 points per game and have held eight opponents to 15 points or less. The offense is led by quarterback Dano Graves, who has a full arsenal of weapons to throw and hand-off too. Expect this one to be a thrilling, high scoring game. I think both teams will be able to score, but in the battle of Bulldogs, I like the overall speed of Folsom to gain the edge. Folsom wins 42-35
