Vacaville takes down Granite Bay

NCP's Take: This is an important win for Vacaville for this season and in regards to the overall program. After taking two blowout losses to Valley Christian-San Jose and Folsom last year (despite winning at Granite Bay) and losing a fourth quarter lead last week, the outside perception of the program was in question. This win helps stabilize that heading into another tough game with Valley Christian-San Jose this week. Granite Bay dropped its first game of the year, but should benefit from a week off before playing Pittsburg to end the month. Still a very solid football team.
